We all are drowning yet it's not water that makes us choke. Immergo is a symphonic metal band formed in 2007 (formerly known as Drowlich). Immergo's first songs were recorded at D-Studio in 2010 and the demo included two tracks: Harbinger of Demise and Oblivion's Prison and it received good reviews from different media and among the audience. Positive feedback inspired the band to focus on composing new material.
Early in 2012 Immergo returned to D-Studio in order to record their first full length album Sunken World. The recording contained 9 songs plus an intro to the forthcoming release. The material also includes new versions of two songs from the previous demo. Immergo has played along with bands like Shade Empire, Wolfheart and Soulfallen. Atmospheric string and brass sections, choirs, appealing guitar rhythms, vigorous percussions and growling vocals form the key musical elements of the band's music.
Immergo's musical influences are symphonic and melodic metalbands such as Dimmu Borgir, Carach Angren, Old Man's Child, Septicflesh, Fleshgod Apocalypse and Vesania, but various other styles of metal can also be heard in their music. Atmospheric string and brass sections, choirs, appealing guitar rhythms, vigorous percussions and growling vocals form the key musical elements of the band's music.
Drowned crew is looking forward to spread their hate-fuelled melancholy on any stage appointed. Immergo is composing new songs and planning on recording material within a year or two. Take a deep breath and feel the waves pull you under.
